New image of Dominic Cooper in Preacher

Preacher will premiere on Sunday, May 22, at 10pm on AMC, following the mid-season finale of Fear the Walking Dead. An encore presentation will air May 29 at 9pm. New episodes will resume on Sunday, June 5th, at 9pm.
AMC has also released new artwork, seen above. The highly-anticipated series is based on the Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s popular comic book series of the same name.
Preacher is executive produced by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen (This Is the End, Superbad), who directed the pilot together. Showrunner Sam Catlin (Breaking Bad) also serves as executive producer .
The series stars Dominic Cooper (Agent Carter) as Jesse Custer, Joe Gilgun (Misfits) as Cassidy, Ruth Negga (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) as Tulip, Lucy Griffiths (Winter’s Tale) as Emily, W. Earl Brown (Scream) as Sherriff Root, Anatol Yusef (Boardwalk Empire) as DeBlanc, Tom Brooke (Game of Thrones) as Fiore, Derek Wilson (Rectify) as Donnie Schenck, and Ian Colletti (Phoebe in Wonderland) as Eugene/Arseface.

Preacher is a supernatural, twisted, and darkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power. Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip, and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy come together; and when they do, they are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell, and everywhere in between.
